Do let me know what you find out and if you put together some points you can always email me using the email address on the home page. It does not surprise me that you have had difficulty finding a balanced argument for it.
I had read that wind power was more expensive than coal/oil fired power stations though I can see that it is good to reduce dependency on imported fuel. Also I understand that you can't really have more than about 5% of the nation's power from it because of variations in output due to wind speed. There are also problems with radar systems which the MOD has reported in the press.
