I haven't been able to find any information on these bones. Do you have a source? Is it thought that the creatures were roaming there wather than that some bones were buried (which seems more likely to me) and what date is put on them.
On other warm periods the Medieval Warm Period about 1000 AD is well proven with temperatures about 1 deg C warmer than present.
