It doesn't hurt to voice suggestions and requests directly to Joyce, or to Michelle, who also teaches line dances on occasional Saturdays (as is the case tonight). For instance, "Runaway" is a popular line dance at a country bar to the south of us, and my wife Peggy wanted to learn it (therefore so did I, I was told). Peggy sweet-talked to Michelle and she put it on the monthly schedule for one of her lessons a while back. For a while, there were only a handful of us doing it, but now the floor can be half-filled with people who have picked it up or already know it. My point being, it's nice to see different stuff make it into the lineup at Bushwhackers, to compliment the tried-and-true stable of dances, and one way to do that is to start the ball rolling by making one's wishes known. If something is deemed likely to be popular and well-received among the dance crowd, there's a good chance of getting it considered for a future class.
Just a thought...
