: Why does Joyce keep teaching the same OLD
: dances? It was such a delight to learn
: Chicken Fried but I see for February it is
: back to the very old and very tired dances.
: There are plenty of new song/dances to
: choose from
Here's a fer instance...
Later this month (you may know that as the month goes on the dances increase in difficulty) Joyce will be teaching "Watcha Thinkin'" and "Jose Cuervo". I love both of those songs, and the dances that we do to them.
They are both "old", but they certainly aren't tired! And how many people do you see on the floor when they get played two weeks after the lesson and review?
Here's another couple I really like: "Crazy Little Thing" by Dwight Yoakum, and "Swing City".
When those ones come on, there are at best a dozen people on the floor. They are both pretty hard dances; old but not tired to this guy!
I just saw Joyce and some of the regulars doing "Rock This Country"?. That's one I like, too, but haven't seen anyone do it for years!
What about the Tush Push? Talk about old and tired! But the floor is always packed when it comes on at 9:00!
Still, I know what you're saying.
I'm just not sure how Joyce can make everyone happy.
Got any ideas?
