Again, you may want to ask Joyce about the line dances and music played on that night. About every third song is a line dance (even the newer ones that Joyce has taught). The DJ plays almost everything on the list sooner or later. You should also be aware that the music for many of the newer line dances are also good for other types of dances (i.e., Good Time is a line dance and west coast swing; Wave on Wave - line dance & two step; Wrapped - line dane, horse shoe, two step). Even older music like Watermelon Crawl and Electric Slide - people line dance and do a west coast swing.
And, the reason the same old songs get played is because for some people, it is the only dance or two that they know; alternatively, people that aren't in there every week don't necessarily know/learn the newer dances.
