Thanks for the input; the concerns being expressed are valid ones, and hearing from the regulars and other partons is one reason for having this message board. I know BW management checks in on the discussions here so your voices are indeed heard; I will also forward them along.
I also think that with the trend of new faces we're seeing lately, it would be good to look at effective ways to spread the word about dance floor etiquette. The instructors do a good job of reviewing etiquette during classes, but it's becoming obvious that many of the newer arrivals, who typically don't make it out until later in the evening, just aren't "getting the memo". I know I'm not the only one getting frustrated out on the dance floor at times. I dunno...maybe a sign or two posted along the rail, which could be pointed out to the "uninitiated" when there is a floor conflict.
Hmmm...too bad we can't have some fun with it and designate an official dance floor referee, armed with a whistle and flags, with the authority to issue technical fouls, and penalties for unsportsmanlike behavior, etc. Nominations, anyone???
Maybe Joyce...or better yet, Alfred...I wouldn't want to cross either one of them...
