Shudder: has La Nora jumped the shark?

From Leigh's first paragraph reviewing (at AAR) the new Nora Roberts, "... first fifty or so pages in The Next Always caused me to wonder if I was reading script for an HDTV decorating show."

I'm taking this out from the library!
