TEAM MEETING July 16th - 9pm

COLUMBIA WOMEN'S RUGBY CLUB
TEAM GENERAL MEETING -
'PREPARING FOR FALL SEASON 09'

THURSDAY JULY 16TH, 2009 - 9PM
AT LIL JULIE'S HOUSE
COPPER BEECH TOWNHOMES
1051 SOUTHERN DRIVE UNIT 2403

All those involved with the Columbia Women's Rugby Club are allowed to attend. This meeting will be discussing our plans for Fall Season, preparing for Fall Season, and electing officers for our Fall Season. As per our Team Bylaws that were adopted in March 2009, we must have a Quorum, a two-thirds of the total membership, to hold a meeting or bring an issue before the Club for a vote. All votes require a simple majority vote for passage. Only members in Good Standing with the Club are eligible to cast votes. A Member in good standing is one who is actively participating in club practices, games, and meetings and has paid their Dues. Dues are $50 a season, with a collection deadline of September for Fall Season. This meeting will be the first opportunity for returning and new members to pay Fall Dues. Since we did not collect dues during the summer, those who paid dues and participated during Spring season are still considered in good standing.

All those who currently participate in Columbia Women's Rugby are eligible to attend. If you are not listed above but wish to become a voting member in good standing please bring your dues to this meeting. We will be electing the following positions:

Here is a list of the Current Officers of the Club:

Fundraising: Rachel Romovili
Match Secretary: Julie Freese
Social Chairperson: Kaitlin Bedekovich
Treasurer: Zack Pilat
Recruiting: Jo Stevenson

Here is a list of the current Club Committees that Members are eligible to serve on:
- Recruiting Committee
- Social Committee
- Fundraising Committee

We will also need to elect the following Captains for our Team:

Backs Captain
Forwards Captain
