What a Dam Joke
Stimulus Money at work
I just read were some our various local Police Departments received some of the Stimulus money to be used to keep more Policeman on the street and what most people won’t get is how the money is really going to be used………………. You have to really look at the numbers? Most Police officers do not make 100K so where’s the rest going? Lets say they work 250 days a year and they fill up the old squad car everyday 20 gallons X $3.00 per gallon X 250 days = $15,000 ok still doesn’t add up let say they buy a new squad car every year for the poor cop, that’s another 25K? St. Louis city is getting $8.6 million to keep 50 officers do the math………that’s $172K per cop? Look at Granite City $652K to keep 3 Policeman. Writings on the wall folks we are getting screwed, this is our MONEY! How does this stimulate the economy? I have no problem with more police; it’s the money that is unaccounted for that pisses me off. See Below, Glen
