Beachcombing in Camotes

To include photographs within your message: (1) Find on the Internet the photo you wish to include (it must already be posted on an existing Website) and right-click on it (2) When a box appears, left-click on "Properties" at the bottom (3) When another box appears, find "Address (URL)" and highlight it by left-clicking then dragging your cursor across it (drag in a downward motion because some URLs have more hidden lines below the visible ones) (4) Right-click the area you just highlighted (5) When a smaller box appears, left-click on "Copy" (6) Go to the message text you are writing (7) Right-click where you want the photo to appear in your message (8) When a small box appears, left-click on "Paste" (9) Type or copy-and-paste [img] in front of the photo URL and [/img] at the end--be sure there are no spaces between the string of letters/numbers and these two symbols, or the picture will not post.... Once you do it, it's not as complicated as it sounds.
To write captions beneath your pictures: Simply type what you want to appear beneath where you posted the picture--if you want it in boldface, click on "B" in the lower right-hand corner of the "Post a message/Post a response" field; if you want it in italics, click on "I."
To center your pictures, captions and text: Type <center> before and </center> after the picture, caption or text you want centered. When the photos used are different sizes, reading continuity will be much easier if pictures, captions and text are centered. You can click "Preview" to see how it looks as many times as you want before clicking "Post."

Please, post all the pictures you want! Readers on this board like to see pictures of the islands! (Just be sure they don't violate any of the guidelines below.)

Commercial banner advertisements or revenue-generating links other than those placed by Boardhost are not allowed on this board.

In addition, the following content is prohibited on all Boardhost message boards:
