Sadly mate that track was doomed from right after we finished the vocals - my pc went pop and corrupted the original cubase file. Hence I was left only with a very rough 1st mix down (sans piano). I was GUTTED.
So without trawling through about 50 takes each of several guitars and vocals (all dropped in at various points, rather than all the way through starting from the same point) I kinda thought, OK, that'll have to do on that one then.
Seriously man, rebuilding a track from scratch with that many takes is not something a sane person should try doing.
