Not sure if this is VENICE AHOYS first headline in Bournemouth, infact, i doubt it is. But this band is incredible and deserve to headline and be seen.
VENICE AHOY have played Bournemouth a few times already and won over a fair few fans in the area.
It's not hard to see why either. With songs like "Maps" at their disposal, a song which is highly infectious and addictive, it just compels you to have a good time. Taking a mix of bands such as FOALS and VAMPIRE WEEKEND they create something that reminds you of the bands but is a long way off from being a rip off. It's charming, it's quirky, it's addictive as a class A and just ####ing brilliant.
I can easily see VENICE AHOY becoming a household name.

MINNAARS are on a co headline tour with Venice Ahoy and make their first trip to Bournemouth (i think). Coming across as a blend of BLOC PARTY and THE EDITORS but whilst making the sound their own. This is definately a band that the Bournemouth crowd will get in to.
