Don,,I have done the same for a windmill and a sabal and here is a tip. Last winter my windmill palm was above 28 degrees and it sometimes went into the 70's during the day when the sun was out. I watered maybe 2 times all winter and the new growth that was there when I built ny greenhouse last november was all dried up. If its growing during the winter water it every once in a while. If its 90 degrees it summer. I just made the mistake and passing it to you just in case. Good luck..Bill
