Hey Mike I'm game, never tried any sabals, how long have you had these sabals,my understanding it takes years before a sabal sets fruit and seeds, for they are such slow growers.
I bought one this year from Ray Somane, who is the guy in the book, they speak of here in Wichita,of Myths on palms won't grow here, and he has these growing for 6 years and just now sending up it's first full frond, granted these have been growing in pots which would probably take it longer than in the ground.
I shared some of your wash, fif, seeds with a couple sons who live in Minn.and Amarillo Tx.and they have germinated for them,so you have spread palms north and south of you.
I'm hoping to get my grandsons interested in growing hardy palms, and continue the tradition.
If you have any left.
