I agree with your suggestion to play with the current age ranges. As it is the Autos and Cadets covers around 3 years (depending on when the riders 6th birthday is) but if the riders do 2 years in the autos they only get one in the cadets and in most cases this is not long enought to get used to a 'proper' grass bike or clutch and gears and get up to speed for the Juniors. I fell they should do 2 years in Cadets. This would then push the juniors age up by a year which I think is good. Still do 3 years and then move to the inters a year later than at present, again a good thing. Ultimately that would do away with the Seniors but as everyone has pointed out there are so few anyway that it's not likely to be an issue. The real plus of this would be that it would put our 250cc riders on a similar age range as the europeans. They are 14 years and up and an amended inters class would be 13 and up. Of course any changes are going to cause havoc in the 'change over' years but ultimately I feel it would give us a better system.
