Here is one for you J.R.
to add to your input.....
copy of e-mail sent to me prior to the British Youth Championship, when I asked the same question about our Max using the same bike in the Juniors & International 125cc classes

Andrew,
I saw Dicky Sullivan, Annie Boyle and Rob Smith at the Wimborne
meeting on Sunday and all have confirmed that Max can use the same
bike in both the International 125cc and Junior classes.
The number plate can remain as one, no need to change the colour of
numbers, etc. and you will need to un-attach the brake cable each time
for the International class.
I hope this is clear and have passed a copy of this email to Jay Sayer
and Martin Phillips who will be Technical Officers on the day, so that
they are aware of your intentions.
I look forward to seeing you in a few week's time.
Regards, Karen

So you can ride the same bike but in different classes where one class requires a brake and the other doesn't, but it is on the same feild the same track with the same people?
It really is a sensible rule......not?
Oh and if I did not mention before (forgive me if I am repeating myself?)
'A brake is very dangerous on a grasstrack bike!'
