I think that Auto's should without doubt have brakes fitted.
All other classes i feel have the sense to control there bikes.
Don't think Mr Cornes incident should be considered in this debate apart from it does add another reason to the argument. I can only comment on my own experience with Callum and he has never needed to use a brake in a controlled enviroment such as a Grasstrack meeting. I have always taught Callum to pull the clutch in and kill the engine! I would not put him into a race if i felt it was unsafe to do so for him and others.
What makes this even more debatable is at the championship Callum was racing in two classes on the same bike. one was the 125 class with no brakes and the other in the junior class with brakes fitted. What do you think i did
If you can let a 10 year old race in the 125 class against 16 year olds without a brake fitted surely the authorities are making a president for themselves.
