It seems you've heard about recent events in Weaverham. Don't get the wrong idea, it's not typical.
What's the best thing to say about it all? Most people will go about their business in the same good-natured way they always have. Other things that're growing here are symptoms of a far wider sickness than our village's.
Attitudes are changing -- not always for the worse. But old wisdom is often cast aside for instant pleasure. Hasn't it always been so? Not like this.
