Come on Weaverham lets get behind our sturdy group of enthusiastic committee members and brighten up the old girl! As we speak they are having planning meetings and beginning to plant and photograph it for prosperity. it will also be covered by the local media so watch out how you can get more involved!
One of the committee members has been quotes as saying " There's a desire to make more of an impression. To have flowers in new places -- open spaces. - The flower beds in front of Lime Avenue shops shall, God willing, be doubled in diameter. - The grey fence at the Cricket Club looks so dull, and flowers will have to be planted at the foot of it. - But the village doesn't yet realise they can all be involved! So the press will be approached to mention it again. We can do our gardens up. - remember - The village has its dull patches just waiting for our embroidery."
