With sadness we hear that the Chairperson of the Trust Ruth Batsford will not stand for re-election at the forthcoming AGM of the Trust.
However she did not state that she would not remain a Trust member, so lets hope she will still make many contributions to this excellent organisation that has done so much to protect the 'green belt' that Weaverham so firmly belongs in.
Here at Weaverham News and Yarns we all wish her well and thank her for her many contributions to our village life.
