last year, I brought in a sago (in the basement) after I had forgotten all about her and left her out in a pot in very cold weather. Well, she didnt look good at all and i thought I lost her(completely brown and crisp - roots were brown as well). About mid Feb I took it out of the pot and threw the "remains" in the woods. The other day I was walking the property and since the leaves are coming off saw what I had thrown in the woods. Now this had no protection the remainder of the winter and was left in the woods to decompose. What I saw was a green Sago that had pushed MANY new fronds. Maybe they are a little tougher than we thought!
