I think I'm all good for the winter, but I just came across this link and wanted to share:
Mini palm greenhouses for outdoors
... I was looking at the palm research at Miami University of Ohio. 
These are nice-looking little contraptions! I love it that you can see through them, too!
Anybody out there ever buy one of these?
