We used them last year and they worked great. I didn't have any problems at all with burning or anything. Jake is right - there are a lot of LEDs out this year. We'll need to stock up!!!
In addition to the C-9s we got a ThermoCube thermostat from Tractor Supply ... it turns the lights on and off automatically. You should get one! (Think it's called a TC-3 ThermoCube but I might not be remembering correctly ... it's used to turn on heaters in livestock water troughs.)
What did you decide about your 'naners, M? Mine are still in ground right now ... guess they'll be easy enough to dig by the time this rain moves out!!!
