As Wolfgang Smith has written, Teilhard de Chardin intended to start a New Religion.[1] He made it quite clear on several occasions. Who and What is - or was - Wolfgang Smith? Yes - I have my own copy of the one book on which his "fame" was based. I bought it years ago - as well as my copy of Pius X's "Pascendi" [1907 "On the Doctrine of the Modernists"] - at the Catholic church in Nambour. The Parish Priest in those days was of the "Tridentine" variety.

Where in Smith's book does it tell us where he was born? Where in his book does it tell us whether "Smith" was really his original surname?

Stop getting off the subject with your points of interest GF. Fr JG made a quote from Chardin and you need to acdept that he said this and to distance yourself from Chardin's views.

It consisted of a human skull of medieval age,[GF WHAT WAS THE NAME OF SKULL OWNER??] the 500-year-old lower jaw of a Sarawak orangutan and chimpanzee fossil teeth[NAME THE DENTIST WHO DID THE MOLAR FILLING?. The appearance of age had been created by staining the bones with an iron solution and chromic acid[FROM WHICH LABORATORY ETC WERE THE CHEMICALS OBTAINED how much did they cost].
