I quote:
Resplendent and unfading is wisdom,
and she is readily perceived by those who love her,
and found by those who seek her.
end quote
Knowledge and wisdom are often viewed with a wish to believe that they are closely tied.
In reality it is how we interpret our experiences that will determine our course of action.
The Father's counselling will more often, or not be overpowering, even persuasive sufficiently for us to embrace the guidance bubbling into our thoughts pointing us in a particular direction.
From experience Divine Wisdom will provide us with advice serving the common good, rather than treating us as if we are the only beneficiary of God's gifts. The beneficiaries of the common good also includes those who serve at The Father's Banqueting Table, His outreach into the lives of those He invites us to assist.
Proverbs 2
1 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
Fear of God is respect for the counselling flowing into our thoughts, whenever we are considering a particular course of action. From my experience I have learned and am learning day, after day that Our Father's guidance will persist leading us to make choices serving His design.
Proverbs 3
1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
