that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
~ John 3:16
By, and through the invitation of God’s word, there is an invitation that is given to every human person received with joy, or rejected by our free choice. That invitation will keep on entering our thoughts, notwithstanding our initial refusal to cooperate. Our Father has His habit of being persistent in the face of our rejection, after rejection until we accept that there is much more to the counselling entering our thoughts.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." ~ Matthew 11:28
Each day I rise from my bed, I thank Our Father for granting me another day of living, filled with all that He grants me to fulfil His plan for my today.
I am often asked what should be done to engage with The Father. My reply is simple, and free of academic fastidiousness. Start talking with God each, and every morning. Listen in silence. A dialogue will commence whereby we are drawn into a conversation with Our Father's Spirit.
The Father is also a constant gardener moving through His vineyard going over his precious branches, talking to them and encouraging them to be all that they can be. He tells us how, through His great mercy, He chose us to be in his garden. As He carefully inspects our fruit (our good deeds) He prunes that which does not belong, and what may be hindering us from producing good fruit. Thus, Our Father encourages us to do much more than engage in conversation with Him, directing us to become His practical outreach into the lives of those people, who by perceived chance enter our orbit receiving all that Divine Providence supplies to us, to share with those on the receiving end of God's benevolence.
In due time we begin to trust the wise counselling flowing through our thoughts, sufficient to ensure that our dialogue with Our Father becomes a fruitful relationship, enabling us to become all that God has planned for our life's journey of self discovery.
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.
Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.
For apart from me you can do nothing.
