I quote:
Thus says the LORD:
Observe what is right, do what is just;
for my salvation is about to come,
my justice, about to be revealed.

Jesus waited with patience before responding to a woman, with a disturbed daughter crying out aloud for assistance to cure her child of her illness.
Two thousand years ago demonic possession was considered a fearful manifestation of that which frightened people, sufficiently to remain at a distance from anyone assumed to be possessed by demonic forces.
Jesus understood the fear filled response of His apostles, expecting Jesus to distance Himself from the woman, and disturbed child.
Jesus remained sensitive to the feeling of His apostles, whose negative response to the woman's cries for help revealed the ignorance of those times.
Biding His time at the appropriate moment Jesus intervened
"O woman, great is your faith!
Let it be done for you as you wish."
And the woman's daughter was healed from that hour.
Fear of the unknown is a powerful adversary of faith in God, founded upon nothing more than not being able to discern the causation of a disturbed child's behaviour.
Motivated by her faith in Jesus' power to cure her daughter the mother of the disturbed child persisted with her requests, that Jesus should intervene and heal her daughter of her illness.
We learn from today's readings that our patience, and willingness to embrace Our Father's timing provides us with the remedy to all that we need to resolve those difficulties creating so much anxiety in our life day, after day.
God's word has never failed and it never will. You can trust his timing because if he gave you a promise, he intends to follow through no matter how long it takes. He didn't make a mistake when he made you a promise. It was deliberate and intentional ~ Isaiah 55:10-11
