The term, fear not appears very often throughout Holy Scripture encouraging the reader not to rely on our own easy willingness to be disturbed when faced with difficulties overwhelming our capacity to resolve. Rather than allow depression to settle into our thoughts, it is constructive to spend a few minutes in silence, permitting a dialogue with The Father to set in motion the remedy that will resolve our desperation, enabling us to rise out of our pit of anguish.
Have no fear of moving into the unknown.
Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well.
Do this in complete faith and confidence.
~ Pope John Paul II
JP11 invites us never to despair when in our more stress filled moments, we can turn to Our Father asking Him for guidance, leading us out of our troubles. God's Spirit will always reply to our cries for help, with a very clear answer asking us to do all that He asks of us.
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.
There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. ~ Hebrews 4:16
