I quote:
Thus says the LORD:
Just as from the heavens
the rain and snow come down
and do not return there
till they have watered the earth,
making it fertile and fruitful,
giving seed to the one who sows
and bread to the one who eats,
so shall my word be
that goes forth from my mouth;
my word shall not return to me void,
but shall do my will,
achieving the end for which I sent it.
end quote
I had the good fortune to spend the first six years of my life living on a farm where I witnessed my father planting, and harvesting crops learning that the period of growth requires patience, understanding that the harvest nourishes our wellbeing and good health. I also observed that sowing, and reaping is an ongoing year round investment, requiring careful attention to that which enriches our life's story of self discovery.
We reap what we sow. Choose what you nourish carefully.
