I quote:
The LORD is faithful in all his words
and holy in all his works.
The LORD lifts up all who are falling
and raises up all who are bowed down.

Today's readings invite us to understand our relationship with The Spirit of God, alive in our life.
Meekness has that quality acknowledging our willingness to embrace our flaws, and inadequacies...sufficient to need to rely upon The Teacher, of teachers inviting us to let Him lead us through our life's journey of self discovery.
Often we will question why we made a particular decision, when a more rational option was available. In my experience over many years, I have yielded to an overpowering internalised influence rising into my thoughts, sending me in a direction rejecting my initial response to a perplexing challenge. In each case I reached the conclusion that acting on the counselling bubbling from within my innermost self had provided me with a constructive response leading me to keep on trusting the wisdom emerging from the source of my life.
Our reliance upon our greatest friend coaching us to follow His wise advice, might well evidence the presence of He who is the creator of our life's story.
"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."
