I quote:
For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.
The promises of the LORD I will sing forever,
through all generations my mouth shall proclaim your faithfulness.
For you have said, "My kindness is established forever;"
in heaven you have confirmed your faithfulness.
end quote
Out of today's readings I have chosen to address Our Father's promises delivered to us according to His timing. Here lies the challenge for most of us expect The Father to honour His promises to us to suit our timing. God asks us to wait patiently for Him to grant us all that He has promised us...while day, by day patiently transforming us into His most beloved child.
Faithfulness, is a two lane avenue, where reciprocation works daily rewarding us with all that The Father furnishes to us, for our well being, and transformation into a person worthy of being favoured by God's daily intervention in our life.
Later Elisha asked, "Can something be done for her?"
His servant Gehazi answered, "Yes!
She has no son, and her husband is getting on in years."
Elisha said, "Call her."
When the woman had been called and stood at the door,
Elisha promised, "This time next year
you will be fondling a baby son."
Our Father delivers on His promises per His timing, and by His means...without exception.
Albert Einstein wrote that coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous, In Biblical language it can said that coincidence is “what occurs together by God’s providential arrangement of circumstances.”
It is also arguable that when we respond constructively to a coincidence appearing to invite us to answer its intervention, we are walking on the right path opening up before us revealing God's avenue into our future. Divine Design has a well established ritual of concealing its presence leading us along The Father's road of growth in His caring hands.
“According to Jung, synchronicity is an unpredictable moment of meaningful coincidence”
