When we awake from our sleep there is an awareness that The Father has granted us the gift of another day, to implement His plan in our life one day, at a time until our life's story reaches its conclusion.
“God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear.”
Our journey of self discovery, and daily growing awareness recognises that there is at our side a constant friend travelling with us, engaging us in conversation, and guiding us along the road that He invites us to walk...with Him.
“God give me nothing I wanted. He gave me everything I needed.”
In those moments, those periods when nothing appears to go well, Our Father takes our hand leading us into calmer waters, learning that the storm that we have just experienced, and exited has cleansed us of all that sought to destroy our trust in His friendship.
That Constant Friend never gives up on us, even in those moments when we surrender to our fears that we have lost everything of worth.
Our Constant Friend will whisper into our thoughts encouraging us to take that extra step out of the abyss, into the light of day where we are able to see things more clearly, enabling us to apply the remedy that by sheer good chance entered our thoughts with perfect timing, rescuing us from all that conspired to destroy our life.
12 This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. 13 There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. 16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
