I quote:
“My grace is sufficient for you,
for power is made perfect in weakness.”
end quote
Uncertainty has its benefits encouraging us to be much more resourceful in the face of overwhelming odds, calculated to deliver a blow that would floor the strongest among us. Standing up to face our next challenge assists us understand that our resilience is providing us with the determination to continue trying to defeat our easy choice to surrender to our fears.
But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble.
~ Psalm 59:16
It is during our moments of complete dejection reaching the bottom of our pit of despondency, that we cry out to Our Father for His practical assistance. Our inner voice will invite us to remain calm, and patient with our circumstances with Our Saviour reminding us that His timing, and plan will enable us to defeat our sense of hopelessness, resolving the matter that is causing us so much anguish.
God's Grace is much more than strength, it is the awareness that within our conscious understanding there is a wise friend step, by step guiding us out of our dilemma enabling us to learn that when we follow His directions, all will be well.
“You must ask for God's help. Even when you have done so, it may seem to you for a long time that no help, or less help than you need, is being given. Never mind. After each failure, ask forgiveness, pick yourself up, and try again. Very often what God first helps us towards is not the virtue itself but just this power of always trying again.”
