Justice reigns in the heart of the person recognising right, over wrong when taking action in accordance with their heart's understanding.
Our conscience will always intervene in those matters when Our Father deems it necessary to remind us that if we expect to be treated justly, then we must also reciprocate in kind granting justice when we are placed in the position to act justly. Reality in strong doses frightens the person obliged to place the rights of another, before their insecurities nudging them to look after their self interest at the expense of the innocent person.
Liberty for each of us is determined by our actions, when treating those who cross our path with the respect that we would expect were we seeking just treatment at the hands of the powerful.
“From a political point of view, there is but one principle, the sovereignty of man over himself.
This sovereignty of myself over myself is called Liberty”
― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables
Thus, when we treat our fellow traveller justly, we liberate our self from any thought that our actions condemn us to servitude, in a hell of our own construction. Our freedom to live our life in pursuit of our happiness, and well being is best expressed through our support for those who benefit from our just behaviour when we sacrifice our self absorbed ambitions, liberating the needy from their dungeon filled with despair.
“Love is the foolishness of men, and the wisdom of God.”
― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables
