I quote:
The Lord is near to all who call upon him

Today's Gospel presents us with the prospect of a vineyard owner calling those seeking rewarding employment, to accept His invitation to work in His fields, reaping a harvest of plenty the proprietor's remuneration for all who choose to be fed by the fruit of their labour. Thus our life's satisfaction, joy, and happiness reveals its realities by our acceptance to serve, that we may also be served by The One calling us to enter into His kingdom to dine at His table.
Holy Scripture furnishes us with many examples where the vine, and its fruit the grape are provided as an example of prosperity, when we embrace Our Father's call to let Him become the supplier (Divine Providence) of all our needs. In the role of our helper Our Father becomes our most beloved friend attending to our every need that we may understand that His gifts are His way of thanking us, for doing all that He asks of us.
When entering Our Father's caring life filled to overflowing with His joy that we have embraced His life alive in ours, we are asked to reciprocate by sharing our good fortune, with those whom The Father presents to us to sup at His dining table that they may also inherit all that Our Father provides to celebrate our life.
Our remuneration for working in Our Father's fields is never a matter of cash, there being a daily growing awareness that our satisfaction fills us with joy sufficient to want for nothing more than knowing that we are loved, enabling us to love all called into our life's orbit to love in all love's manifestations.
Our Father supplies our every need guaranteeing that we will be able to live our life with want for nothing, ensuring that His Will shall be done, according to His Word alive in our life.
The inevitable question arises how can I pay my way in a society where cash is the currency of exchange.
The Father will provide for all our needs. No exceptions.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me ~ John 15:1-4
