Worrying over any matter can do more damage than the issue that is causing us so much anxiety.
Our response to any given concern should be met with calmness, and a determination never to surrender to our fear of the unknown.
Today's readings teach us that Divine Providence works hand, in hand with all who trust in Our Father's intervention in our lives guiding us out of danger into safer waters. That advice resonates within our interior being as if to say, do all that I ask.
Over the centuries wise sages remind us that it is never the tribulation facing us that is destructive, rather how we respond to adversity.
For these attacks do not contribute to make us frail but rather show us to be what we are. ~ Thomas a Kempis
