I quote:
Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. He prostrated himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. And he was a Samaritan. Then Jesus asked, ‘Were not ten made clean? But the other nine, where are they? Was none of them found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?’
Then he said to him, ‘Get up and go on your way; your faith has made you well.’

Believing that Our Father will help us during difficult times responding to our pleas for assistance evidences our faith in His timely intervention leading us out of our troubles.
Faith in Our Father's willingness to assist us is evidence of our free choice to believe that we can be helped when allowing the divine presence to intervene placing us on our pathway to salvation.
Simple faith opens the eyes of wisdom to embrace the life that Our Father grants to all who accept His invitation to follow Him. Confidence in God's friendship includes doubt providing us with sufficient reasons to keep asking for His aid when our capacity to cope is overwhelmed by our anxieties.
We must make up our minds to be ignorant of much, if we would know anything. ~John Henry Newman
