2 Peter 3
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Anxiety is prone to deliver its victims into the depths of depression where little is gained, and much lost the result of losing faith in Our Father's promise to let Him lead us through our life's journey.
How slow we are to believe that which The Light illuminates opening our path to readily embrace divine wisdom counseling us how best to cope with, and surmount the adversities life distributes to all that we may learn life affirming lessons deepening our faith in Christ's presence at our side.
Trust in God's plan for our lives is never just a matter of lip service, it is the joy of participating in all that our inner inspiration provides for our satisfaction knowing that all will be well, for Our Father cannot fail when we actively do all that He asks of us.
Patience introduces us to the divine mystery always at hand reminding us that there is a time for everything a time to wait, a time to plant, and a time to reap all that the harvest serves for those who have faithfully fulfilled their promise to do all that The Saviour requests evidencing our faith in God's promise to provide all that we will ever need for our well being.
What God Has Given Us To Do
9 What do we gain by all of our hard work? 10 I have seen what difficult things God demands of us. 11 God makes everything happen at the right time. Yet none of us can ever fully understand all he has done, and he puts questions in our minds about the past and the future. 12 I know the best thing we can do is to always enjoy life, 13 because God’s gift to us is the happiness we get from our food and drink and from the work we do. 14 Everything God has done will last forever; nothing he does can ever be changed. God has done all this, so that we will worship him. ~ Ecclesiastes 3
