Even the sceptical agnostic learns through experience that their brushes, with what at first appears to be another fortuitous coincidence, begins to reveal a pattern not lost on those who value the influence of an unseen hand working at their side.
When life presents us with misfortune it can be said that we deserve all that is presented to us, to solve the dilemma that has overwhelmed us sufficiently to accept the wisdom that is at hand, waiting for us to invite it to show us the way ahead. Or, put another way, a chance encounter that brought us into contact with the person who provided us with the solution to the problem that had unnerved us.
"For My hand made all these things, Thus all these things came into being," declares the LORD "But to this one I will look, To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word. ~ Isaiah 66:2
Our Father creates our life from the moment of our conception, with a willingness to freely share His gifts with all who embrace His invitation, to let Him lead us through our life's journey of self discovery.
The invisible hand that intervenes in our life when we surrender our ways, into His caring embrace becomes our moment of salvation, creative life in progress until our dying breath. Our deepening trust in Our Father's guidance reveals our growing reliance upon The One who in due time we understand is more than a chance encounter, rather a revelation of the divine mystery's presence at our side leading us through our life until journey's end.
Chance is perhaps the pseudonym of God when he did not want to sign ~ Anatole France
