Confronting our fears is never just a matter of discovering that which triggers our concerns, but of our free choice to grasp the hand of The One inviting us to let Him shepherd us through the journey of our life time.
For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. ~ Isaiah 41:13
Relying upon the inspiration of Our Saviour is a life time's process of self discovery, whereby each of us is able to discern all that our greatest friend offers to those who trust Him, especially in those moments when our road darkens, and we lose our sense of direction.
“Courage is found in unlikely places.” ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
It is when we have reached rock bottom, and lost all hope of ever recovering from our sense of having lost our way that a ray of light, or intuitive inspiration begins to show us an exit out of our pit of self excavated despair.
“May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.” ~J.R.R. Tolkien
The only impossible journey is the one we choose not to begin. Then a day arrives when our trials appear to overwhelm us. It is then that The Saviour taps us on the shoulder asking us to follow Him, that we may discover all that life offers to those of us who grasp the hand that feeds us, leading us into safe pasture where we may thrive knowing that all is well.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10
