As a child fitting together my parents' Christmas gift a giant jig saw puzzle I began the life long process of learning that the 101 pieces parading before me in various colours, shapes, and sizes would gradually come together to complete the finished puzzle when with patience, and understanding I acknowledged that each puzzle piece was of equal importance to enable me to build the complete the picture.
"Have you guessed the riddle yet?" the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
"No, I give up," Alice replied: "what's the answer?"
"I haven't the slightest idea," said the Hatter. ~Lewis Carroll
Life has its own weird and wonderful way of taking us on long journeys filled with anticipation of what may be concealed just beyond that fork in the road fast approaching us as if to say, step out in faith, and experience what life has on offer for all who trust Our Father's directions.
When Jesus invited Galilean fisherman to let Him show them where best to drop their nets on Lake Galilee, He was asking them to trust Him in all matters to provide for their every need.
Simon Peter and his fellow fishermen were reluctant to trust a landlubber with no fishing experience, but relented when they understood that they had everything to gain, and nothing to lose.
Trust in The Saviour's illuminating guidance is a process that over time encourages each of us to embrace the wisdom flowing from within our very being, counselling us how to fit the pieces together making sense of our life time's journey.
Divine Wisdom asks us to let Him show us how best to travel the road that appears ahead of us, as if to say, this is way to go, trust Me by grasping my hand.
