Redemption is never an event, for enlightenment is a growing awareness that our transformation, or self improvement is always work in progress completed at our death. In the meantime our journey of self discovery provides us with the opportunity to right all that we learn through our daily experiences needs putting right.
Psalm 27 Of David.
1 The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
We speak of enlightenment, or illumination to witness to the gradually change that takes hold of us, when of our own free will we accept the invitation of our inner voice speaking to us in silence to let Him become our best friend.
Ecclesiastes 2:13
I saw that wisdom is better than folly, just as light is better than darkness.
The gift of faith in The One who asks nothing from us except to trust His guidance, is reciprocated when He grasps our hand leading us out of the dangers that confront all who journey through life placing us in safe pastures.
We learn that our daily enlightening lessons are His gift wrapped in humility, best served for the benefit of those whom Our Father sends to us to serve.
“The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”
~ Psalm 119:130
