4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers;
Our Father's love for all His children is exercised with an steadfast interest in the growth of each, and every human person when tending to our needs that we may day, by day grow our full potential when abiding with Him.
The Constant Gardener keeps busy throughout our life by visiting us with a loving purpose, to ensure that our development grows us into children worthy of His loving embrace.
Every October our local community joins in the annual trimming, and pruning of the trees and bushes that populate our streets with foliage contributing some measure of beauty to the environment, and its rewards rising from our actions as responsible stewards of our planet.
Spring heralds the arrival of new life budding before our eyes, welcoming us to appreciate the opening to better days, and fruit that many trees produce to feed us with life enhancing food, the result of having made the effort to trim all that was needed to strengthen, and encourage the trees to grow to their fullest potential.
So it is with the human being when The Father intervenes to correct our ego driven ways, thus ensuring that our behaviour better serves to enrich the lives of those with whom we share our journey through life...and they, in their turn reciprocate rewarding us with their friendship and support.
Virtue - even attempted virtue - brings light; indulgence brings fog.~ C. S. Lewis
