For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.
Each and every human person faces moments of doubt when we ask why me, why am I facing this insurmountable challenge that has driven me to despair.
Trusting in Our Father's promise that He will shepherd all His children through our periods of distress provides the suffering child with the strength to endure, and overcome all that would dare to destroy our loving relationship with our most loyal friend.
There is self imposed tyranny when ever we deny our birth right to doubt; for in doubting we are rewarded with growing trust/faith in the source of our very being endowing us with His gift of perseverance never to surrender to our fear of failure.
When in the Garden of Gethsemane worrying deeply over His approaching ordeal Jesus faced moments of doubt asking The Father to "take this cup from me" He had understood that His suffering would lead Him into eternal bliss at The Father's side.
Jesus recovered His composure the result of His doubts enabling Him to understand that Our Father always endows His faithful child with the strength to overcome fear of pain, and death the final act for every human person.
Giving of our all is the eternal inviting each of us to be the sacrifice for all, receiving all that we freely offer to serve the common good.
