The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him. ~ Nahum 1:7
The optimistic frame of mind empowers all whose day, month, or even year may be filled with misery, and emptiness the result of life inviting us to savour bitter days that we may better appreciate tomorrow's sun rising to invite us remain patient, and trust in Our Father's promises that all will be well.
None of us is spared moments devoid of happiness when faced with the trials that life sends us to cope with, and to overcome when following the inspiration of our inner person asking us to follow His path through the treacherous currents of our life's journey.
Tomorrow rewards each of us with a fresh start at living life to the fullest when inviting us to bury yesterday's tribulations, by concentrating on all that today's gifts will provide for us to celebrate our life's passage.
There is only now for the present is the manifestation of everything that is on offer for us to enjoy, there being an understanding that today could well be our last salute to life.
From Erich Wolfgang Korngold's "Tomorrow"
Ah Say not so! Another love will cheer you.
The sun will rise as bright tomorrow morn.
The birds will sing, though I no longer near you must lie forlorn, lie forlorn.
When I am in my grave, the flowers blowing
shall make you garlands twenty times as sweet.
Beauty will live Ah though I must sleep
unknowing beneath your feet, must sleep beneath your feet.
Psalm 118:24 ESV
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
