9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Our happiness and well being is never determined by our circumstances, but by how we respond to those challenges inviting us to become the master of our fate, rather than becoming a willing victim of life's tribulations.
Those synchronous moments that abound to reveal a pattern emerging inviting us to listen too, and follow the inspiration provided by The Word; to discover that He has laid a steady hand on our decision making moments, when we freely choose to let Him become our guiding star.
Round about what is, lies a whole mysterious world of might be -- a psychological romance of possibilities and things that do not happen. By going out a few minutes sooner or later, by stopping to speak with a friend at a corner, by meeting this man or that, or by turning down this street instead of the other, we may let slip some great occasion of good, or avoid some impending evil, by which the whole current of our lives would have been changed. There is no possible solution to the dark enigma but the one word, "Providence."
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
It's said that the determined person is often filled with doubts, there being an awareness that nothing is certain until we make the effort to make it happen. Enduring the passage of time that it takes to enact ones aspirations into reality requires patience, and an understanding that counting the days serves no constructive purpose, other than reminding us that our growing patience feeds our resolve to succeed towards realizing those goals that our dreams have revealed to us to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.
Endurance is patience concentrated. ¬Thomas Carlyle
