If we assume that God intervened in the life of Sister Moriau to cure her of many decades of suffering, why did God wait so long?
We can only attempt to grasp the breadth and depth of God's love by our experience of human love and what loving parent would not intervene as soon as they could to alleviate the suffering of a child?
As the article implies, there are things that happen in the world that 'can not be explained scientifically' (and maybe never will be), but when we ascribe them to an 'interventionist' God, especially our God, it begs questions; very human questions.
