If we observe the historical development of the Church, there is no denying that it has been moving on with times.

The pressure to drop off some old curiosities (limbo, too many unnecessary miracles, sticking to antiquated literal biblical accounts, etc etc) has made the Church a little bit more abreast of the time, a little less embarrassing, but there is still a lot of useless baggage carried on from its superstitious past.
