Georgetown Pop Warner Fall 2009 football registration is going on now. For children ages 7 to 12 years old. Pop Warner is an age/weight restricted league to insure a safe and educational sporting environment for the kids.

Walk-up registration will also be available at Orientation from 11:00am - 2:00pm on Saturday July 11th at the Georgetown Recreation Center in the old gym. Registration fees for tackle are $175.00 online and through orientation on 7/11/2009, after 7/11/2009 online registration will be $235.00. You must register by 8/7/2009 to be eligible to play this fall.
Scholarships:
Scholarships are available. An application must be filled out and submitted to the GTPW board for approval. (See "Handouts/Forms" on the GPWA website - www.georgetownfootball.net)
Orientation:
Orientation will be 11:00am - 2:00 pm on Saturday July 11th at the Georgetown Recreation Center. You will need to turn in ALL forms at this time in order to receive your equipment.
Forms and Handouts:
Copy of Birth Certificate (two copies)
Copy of grades from Spring of 2009 (two copies)
A signed and completed copy of child's physical (See "Handouts/Forms")
A signed and completed copy of "2009 Participant Contract and Parental Consent Form" (See "Handouts/Forms")
(It is required that all forms are completed and turned in the day of orientation to receive equipment.)
Physicals:
If you have not had your players physical done by Orientation, Lone Star Circle of Care will be performing physicals during Orientation for $10.00.
Equipment Supplied:
2008 Schutt DNA Recruit air helmets, Shoulder Pads, Game Jersey, and Game Pants. Players will need to purchase a set of pads for pants.
(There will be a $50.00 deposit required the day of orientation for equipment deposit. The deposit must be in the form of a check payable to "GPWA" and will be returned to the family at the end of the season WHEN all the equipment (less the jersey) is returned to GPWA.)
First Day of Practice:
First day of practice is Monday, August 3rd.
