Learned to type on a manual typewriter but we used Tipex over the mistakes - waited till it dried then typed back over again. We did have some typing classes in High school, but you only really took the class if you were going into secretarial studies. I did Typing for just one term. I was more of a science geek and took up computer science instead :-P Then we just had to learn to touch type on computers anyway LOL --Previous Message-- : : not word processors. We used a soft rubber : erasser to erase mistakes and type over : them. The erassers usually had a plastic : brush on the end to "sweep" away : the crumbs. LOL : : Gad this brings back memories! I learned to : type on an old heavy metal black Royal : typewriter. The keys had special metal : covers that were put over the keys so I : couldn't see them. LOL : And I had to force the key down like playing : a piano. : : Technology is wonderful!! : : Thanks for letting me laugh and waltz down : memory lane. :
